The need: to ensure stable and high-performance signal diffusion for guests and staff.
Eurocom Innovazione has been one of the main technological partners of the Municipality of Mondaino for years , providing connectivity services and Wi-Fi network infrastructure for some public services.
Based on this, this year too we were contacted by the Pro Loco and the Municipal Administration for the design and management of the networking service during the 34th edition of the Palio del Daino , one of the most significant historical re-enactments in Europe.
The primary objective was to provide a stable and high-performance Wi-Fi connection for both guests and internal staff, including ticketing points with related electronic payment systems. The signal coverage had to be extensive and capable of simultaneously managing numerous users with different needs, such as monetary transactions, ticketing, staff communications and social media use.
Our solution: 6 strategic points to meet the needs of the Palio.
Through an in-depth study of the Borgo map and the available frequencies , we identified a central point where we positioned an antenna with repeater functionality, directly connected to the optical fiber . The diffusion of the Wi-Fi signal was guaranteed using 6 cnPilot Cambium Network access points positioned in as many strategic points of the Borgo .
We have also implemented a differentiation of access , offering free public Wi-Fi for Palio guests and a stable and high-performance signal to meet the needs of operators, staff and ticketing points.
The result: an excellent service that strengthens a strategic partnership
Thanks to our solution, we were able to provide a Wi-Fi connection that fully satisfied the needs of the public and the organization of the Palio del Daino. The high-performance network infrastructure, with differentiated access, allowed us to extend the signal to all areas of the Borgo involved in the event, supporting a large number of users with different needs without interruptions or slowdowns for all four days in which the Festival took place. This success strengthened our relationship of partnership and trust with the Pro Loco and the Municipal Administration of Mondaino who, as always, said they were satisfied with the work done by the Eurocom Innovazione team.
